Make it easy for you client to buy from you

How easy is it for clients to buy from you?

How easy is it for your clients to buy from you? This was the title of a recent masterclass I delivered live in my Facebook group and a perfect follow on from How to Make Selling a Priority and Price with Confidence.

The reason they link together so well is that whilst there are practical ways you can improve the buying process the most important thing is your mindset.

Having the right mindset means you’ll price your products, offering and services in a way that reflects YOUR own worth and value and equally that of the CLIENT. It is you deciding on value from a place of service, which creates confidence and increases your ability to sell successfully. It is you putting your client or customer FIRST.

But even this is not enough, you must also… mirror your client. Yes, by being the type of client or customer you want, you are more easily able to attract them.

What is your buying persona (how do you buy)?

Do you quibble over prices, ask for a discount and take pleasure in securing the ‘best’ price? Do you hold onto an invoice until the very last minute or pay late? This may be consciously or unconsciously but if this is you, that is most likely the type of client you are attracting.

Perhaps you’re a nervous or indecisive buyer and need detail, research all purchases and like to take your time. Maybe you’re the complete opposite and jump in with two feet when something feels right. Or even a combination of both but again, you are most likely attracting clients with a similar buying persona.

Do you invest in yourself?

If you’re not willing to invest in yourself, be that money or time, how can you expect others to invest in you? In fact, it is really common for business owners to invest in themselves and then notice a flow of clients. Because as the energy exchange takes place, abundance flows. Outstanding invoices will be paid and potential clients or customers appear or reappear.

The great news is that investing in you doesn’t have to mean a high-ticket course or luxury stay in the Bahamas. It can be allowing yourself time to enjoy coffee in the garden or buying yourself flowers. Anything that is you recognising your own worth.

We attract like for like, so who are you attracting?

It really is that simple. And if you can understand this concept, you can more easily improve the buying experience for your clients by working on you!

Take a few moments now to explore your relationship with money, spending and investment. Use the questions above to discover where your mindset around these things is mirroring your clients. Then decide what needs to change, how you need to change and take the necessary action. Even if you start by treating yourself to a long bath or bunch of flowers. How you buy is most likely exactly how your clients or customers buy from you. And I hope from now on it will be with ease and joy.
