How to attract soul clients on autopilot

Attract clients on autopilot

Can you really attract your ideal client on autopilot?

You can, but it won’t surprise you to hear that to attract your five-star perfect-for-you soul clients, you first need to know exactly who they are.

  • What is their character like?
  • What are their challenges?
  • Where are they currently in their business….?
  • ….and where do they want to be?

Because without knowing who they are, you can’t attract them?

Of course, this is only the first step, although a very important one. You see client attraction goes way beyond simply knowing who they are, it should be in EVERYTHING you do. It’s how you connect, educate and nurture your clients. It’s how you show up, reach out and make yourself known as the person that can get them to where they want to be.

It is much more than marketing or collecting emails. It’s about your business model, offering and services, and having absolute clarity on how you can help them where they need it most. It’s about meeting them where they currently are in their business to provide a service personal to them.

Your perfect for you client should be the centre of every decision you make in your business. It’s you building long-term relationships, which takes time and it’s about the journey they take with you. And this is why scattergun marketing doesn’t work.

It’s also worth remembering that when you work from a place of sell, sell, sell you’re in danger of losing sight of what your client really needs from you, as well as your own purpose.

Another important element of attracting your perfect five-star client is ensuring that all business areas are interconnected and you’re not patching up problems with band-aid solutions. Every aspect of your business needs to play its part in attracting this wonderful client and you experiencing success.

Whilst this should be an ongoing process that you are constantly checking in with and changing as your business evolves and grows, I do have some practical tips to get you started and these are:

  • Check your social media platforms. Are they up to date and nurtured regularly so people can see that you are still there? Are all your contact details and offerings up to date? This includes Google My Business if you use it. Make sure you check in regularly and engage!
  • Check your email signature. Consider changing it regularly with calls to action for your most current offering or service. This is an excellent way of letting people know you can help without directly selling.
  • Speaking of calls to action… are you including them at the bottom of every blog post, video, podcast or social media post? Make sure that any time you share educational content, you let the reader, listener or viewer know how they can access more of your knowledge and support.
  • Add your business to online directories and keep them up to date. Many of these are completely free of charge and come up in Google searches, so make sure your contact details are always correct.
  • When you are networking, whether online or in person, make sure you are all in. Arrange 121s, engage with other people’s businesses, give referrals. Networking, in all its forms, is as much about what you put in as what you get out of it. This even includes Facebook groups (although do make sure you check group rules so you don’t accidentally break them.)

Remember… when looking at all these areas, make sure your brand, tone and message are consistent. Many people will check you out in several places before deciding to work with you.

And it doesn’t end there…

Once your five-star, soul client makes that first purchase, how are you going to look after them? How will you nurture that relationship so they keep coming back or send friends and family your way? This is as important for one-time buyers as it is for clients that come back repeatedly.

Client attraction goes beyond knowing who they are. It’s about how you connect, educate and nurture, and it’s in everything you do.
