It IS the right time
It IS the right time and it’s your time. Your time to shine, step up and fulfill your greatest potential. I don’t care what the global situation is right now, you are ready. Your products, services and programmes are needed and your clients, customers and patients need you.
To be all that I know you can be and turn your dreams into sparkling reality you need a team. And I don’t mean your mother, brother or sister. I want you to find a business coach and invest in you. Whatever you need to do, do it. Invest in you and the business because your clients, customers and patients need you more than ever.
Excuses prevent you from expansion
You will come up with 101 reasons NOT to invest in you: there’s a pandemic, Brexit, a forest fire somewhere in the world, the kids need new shoes. I’m not worth it, it won’t work, I can’t afford it, it’s not the right time.
The list of excuses is and WILL be endless and you’ll come up with as many reasons as you need not to invest. Some may be valid, while others will be based on untruths and a huge dollop of fear.
Back in March, I signed up to work with a business coach, with little thought because it was pre-determined that I’d work with the fantastic Lenka Lutonksa. Written in my annual plan I knew it would happen, I just had no idea when and if I’m honest I’d anticipated much later in 2020. However, the planets aligned, I was aligned – so I jumped in and suppressed the fear.
This was the biggest investment I’ve ever made, and yes, I was scared because if it didn’t work out, I’d have emptied my tax/contingency pot. But I focused only on having to find the first payment and trust that everything would work out.
In fact, I doubled my income in April (yes right at the beginning of the pandemic) and then maintained that income level month on month. I simplified, automated and have been able to bring together my plans while making everything easier.
Over the past few months, I have, at times, felt completely unworthy of being in the mastermind. I was overwhelmed by all that was being achieved around me, yet in my heart, I knew I was worthy of my place.
There is always something. There WILL always be something
Before COVID-19, I invested in working with Lenka, and I began a personal journal. Diagnosed with non-invasive breast cancer, I have, over the past six months, undergone three operations. The last a mastectomy and reconstruction.
You see, there would have been something even if there hadn’t been a pandemic. And while I write this blog. I’m still recovering from my last operation. But my energy levels are back, and I’m ready to shine my brightest again.
No matter what is happening around me or to me, I’m on a mission. I’m on a mission to guide, inspire, and elevate female entrepreneurs to realise their greatest potential. I want to support them in realising their dreams without sacrificing their evenings and weekends, relationships, or health.
It’s time to stop dreaming and start experiencing
I am sharing this story because I know how hard it can be to invest in YOU—trusting that everything will work out for the best or even better. I have experienced how it feels to worry about paying the bills, and I used to check my bank account daily for all the wrong reasons.
Yet when I invest, I’ve always benefited and enjoyed personal and business growth. The last six months have shown me that anything is possible with vision and focus.
