Leap and the net will appear is a quote attributed to Michael Hyatt. It’s about having faith in all that you do because the net will appear, so you can leap.

Children have limitless amounts of faith and believe that they can do anything. For example, my own children love a climbing wall and have complete faith in the equipment and their ability. They start the ascent knowing they’ll find the next hand or foothold and reach the top.

Mindset is everything in business

Believing in yourself, your ability and your offering is a must. Sadly as adults, we’re plagued with anxiety and worry. We allow that annoying voice of doubt (our ego) to pop up and do it’s best to keep us safe.

Yet belief and faith are what gave you the courage to open the doors to your business and begin your amazing entrepreneur journey. This was you filled with excitement and when you believed anything was possible.  You had faith that the net would appear and you took the leap.

You had a strong and powerful why. A business you could operate around the family perhaps. The wish to be a leader or the knowing that you had something ‘special’ to offer that would change lives.

Along the way, you may have been hit with self-doubt and overwhelm and found yourself working more hours than you ever imagined possible. Your dream began to fade and this is why making YOU the priority is essential, and I don’t mean jumping on a continuous ‘training’ path.

While honing your craft, learning and developing your skill is key for success. Constant ‘training’ can be you hiding from fear or lack of faith. It is you trying to reduce the self-doubt and overwhelm you feel but instead experiencing more of the same.

Make personal growth a priority

The greatest gift you can give yourself and the business is time for self-development and personal growth.  Then taking the action and committing to the changes needed, both in the business and personally.

Many years ago I committed to reading self-development books. A slow journey and the list of books is ever-growing. In some ways, this has worked to my advantage, as I’m better able to take on board what I’m leaning and change slowly. The point is, I started.

Leap and the net will appear

Have you ever noticed how what you need will appear, when you allow it? When you’re open to solutions and sometimes when you throw your hands in the air and stop looking. This I’ve learnt happens when YOU surrender.

It also happens as you develop. Since starting my business back in 2013 I now attracting those that have similar beliefs to me, business coaches with whom I share principles.

You need to believe in yourself and have faith that the net will appear. You need to take action, no matter how small, because that is you sending the universe a very positive message. That is you saying, I’m ready to receive and you will.
